Double Chocolate Buff Protein Cookies
MACROS (per serving):
Makes 3 serving
20g of Buff Whey, Chocolate Cereal Milk
1 tbsp of white whole wheat flour
4 tbsp of chocolate peanut butter powder by simple truth
1 tbsp of cacao powder
1 tsp of baking soda
16g of peanut butter
18g of sugar-free Hershey's chocolate chips
1 tsp of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt (for the batter)
1-2 tsp of sweetener of choice
A sprinkle of flaky salt (to top off cookies)
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and whisk well. Then add the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry mix, and with a baking spatula, combine well until you can form a dough ball.
Split the dough into 3 even balls. Place the 3 balls of dough spaced out on a lined baking sheet. Press down on the dough to flatten and form into a cookie (you may need to wet your hands lightly if the dough is sticky).
Once you’ve gotten your 3 doughs flattened into cookies, press in a few chocolate chips into the cookies. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest in the fridge or freezer until the oven has reached its cooking temperature.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Once the oven is ready, remove the cookies from the fridge, uncover them, and place the baking tray in the oven for 6-7 mins.
The cookies will rise a bit during this time but cook pretty fast. Once the cookies finish, remove and allow them to rest for 10-15 mins to cool down before eating.
Top with flaky salt and enjoy!
