🍦 No-Bake Fried Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Bites
The easiest high-protein snack you'll make all week — no oven required.
Okay, hear us out: what if we told you that "fried vanilla ice cream" could be a snack prep situation? These No-Bake Protein Balls are made with our Fried Vanilla Ice Cream Buff Whey and taste like a dessert you'd actually feel guilty about — except you won't, because every single ball has 7 grams of protein. 🙌
They come together in one bowl, take maybe 10 minutes of actual effort, and the hardest part is waiting for them to firm up in the fridge. Make a batch on Sunday and you're set for the whole week. Grab-and-go snacks? Done. Post-workout treat? Done. Late-night sweet tooth? Very done.
Let's get into it!
INGREDIENTS (makes 10 balls)
1 scoop Fried Vanilla Ice Cream Buff Whey
1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup natural almond butter (or peanut butter)
2 tbsp honey
2–3 tbsp Fairlife 2% milk (the extra protein boost is always worth it ✨)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
Pinch of flaky sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Mix your dry base.
In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and Buff Whey protein powder. Stir together until evenly mixed.
Add the good stuff.
Add in the almond butter, honey, vanilla extract, and 2 tbsp of Fairlife milk. Stir everything together until a thick dough starts to form. If it's a little crumbly, add that third tablespoon of milk and mix again.
Fold in the extras.
Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and pinch of flaky sea salt. Don't skip the salt — it takes these from good to oh wow.
Roll into balls.
Scoop and roll into 10 evenly sized balls. We like using a cookie scoop to keep them uniform!
Chill.
Place on a parchment-lined plate or container and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm (but they are even better chilled overnight). Then dig in — or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week!
