This recipe will have you feeling like a pastry chef! You'll be whippin' up some delicious and decadent Vegan Buff Brownies that use our most popular flavor— Fudge Brownie. As always, they're packed with protein because they're straight from @pancakegawd, our Buff Chick Chef's kitchen!
Vegan Protein Buff Brownies
MACROS (per brownie):
Makes 16 brownies
2 ½ scoops of Vegan Protein, Fudge Brownie
1 ¾ cans of drained chickpeas (15 ounce cans)
½ cup of non-dairy chocolate chips
½ cup of vegan butter, melted
½ cup of applesauce
½ cup of oat flour
½ cup of dairy free yogurt
½ cup of almond milk
1 tbsp of vanilla extract
1 tsp of salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line 6” baking dish with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Add a few spoonfuls of chocolate chips after everything has been blended. Pour batter into the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top of the brownies. This is optional but highly recommended.
Bake for 25-30 min or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to set for about 5 min before serving.
Cooking time is subject to change based on the individual oven, type of baking dish, or any substitutions.
