This is the perfect recipe for a single serving if you're looking for some chocolate lava cake but don't want to bake the whole cake! With just a few ingredients— that you can keep in your pantry— you can make this recipe in just under 5 minutes! As usual, anything from our Buff Chick Chef's kitchen is going to be full protein, so you're still hitting all your goals!
Vegan Lava Mug Cake
MACROS (per serving):
Makes 1 serving

32g protein
32g carbs
6g fat
INGREDIENTS:
1 scoop Vegan Protein, Fudge Brownie
1 tbsp of cocoa powder
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
2-3 tbsp sugar replacement
Pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
25g of unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup water
20g zero sugar chocolate syrup
30 ml sugar free syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
DIRECTIONS:
Mix the dry ingredients well, then combine the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix until everything is smooth.
Grease a microwave-safe bowl with nonstick spray and pour in the mixture.
Optional: top with non-dairy chocolate chips.
Microwave for 3 mins, checking at 2:45 and you can keep adding 15 sec if needed until the lava cake is done (the center should be a little soft). Every microwave is different so just keep an eye.
Allow to cool, then enjoy.
