Peppermint Brownie Protein Shake
MACROS:
362 calories
38g protein
33g carbs
9g fat
INGREDIENTS:
1 scoop of Fudge Brownie Buff Whey
1 cup of milk of choice
1 cup of ice
½ banana, frozen
1 tbsp of creamy peanut butter
1 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa
¼ tsp peppermint extract
TOPPINGS (optional):
Whipped cream
Crushed mini candy cane or peppermint
Buff peppermint brownies, cubed pieces
DIRECTIONS:
In a blender, add all the ingredients starting with the ice first and then blend until creamy smooth.
Pour into a large cup and top with whipped cream, pieces of buff peppermint brownies, and a crushed mini candy cane.
Enjoy.
Notes:
*For a thicker consistency use ½ cup of milk.
*Fat-Free milk was used for this smoothie.
*The peppermint extract is STRONG, so a little goes a long way.
*If you prefer a vegan protein shake recipe, you can substitute with the fudge brownie vegan protein powder and almond milk (or other non-dairy milk).
