Looking for a high protein vegan breakfast? Here's the perfect pick-me-up made with Vegan Protein but can also be subbed out for Buff Whey. A chia seed oatmeal that requires just a few ingredients. You'll prep them the night before so they're ready in the morning (or a snack throughout the day)! If you don't tolerate caffeine well or just prefer not to consume extra caffeine, you can also swap the coffee in the recipe to be decaf. Vegan Macchiato Overnight Oats
MACROS (per serving):
Makes 2 servings
300 calories
22g protein
38g carbs
8g fat
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of rolled oats
1.5 scoops of Vegan Protein, Iced Cappuccino
25g of sugar-free maple syrup, optional
160 ml of oat milk
80 ml of unsweetened dark roast coffee or espresso
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tsp of sugar substitute, stevia
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl or jar, mix together oats, Vegan Protein Iced Cappuccino, stevia, maple syrup, oat milk, chia seeds, and coffee.
Combine all ingredients into an airtight container or jar. Store in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.
Remove oats from the fridge and top with a splash of coffee and non-dairy foam over the oats (for the foam, just froth a splash of non-dairy milk).
Enjoy!
NOTE:
You can use any rolled oats; macros will be adjusted slightly.
