Meet the Team

Meet the faces who built the brand; and our incredible team of sponsored athletes! We couldn't be more proud to support women who are changing the face of strength sports.

After playing basketball and running cross country at the collegiate level, Meg eventually found CrossFit and strength training. The competitive spark of CrossFit ignited an interest, leading her to compete in CrossFit, bodybuilding, weightlifting, strongman, and powerlifting. Meg has gone on to compete in powerlifting at the Arnold Pro Raw Challenge, USAPL Nationals 2015-2018, and has been invited to participate in lifting exhibitions and seminars throughout the United States.

Her most recent performance at the 2018 USAPL Nationals resulted in a 7/9 performance in the -63kg class, hitting 140kg (308lb) squat, 77.5kg (171lb) bench, 185kg (409lb) deadlift, and a 437 wilks score.

Meg has successfully coached tens of thousands of athletes and powerlifters through their first squat, first meet, or first national-level competition. Through her YouTube channel and professional passion for the sport of powerlifting, she has studied under and interviewed the strongest strength athletes in the world. At the heart of all her businesses is the mission to get a barbell in every woman's hands, and Buff Chick Supplements is another way to support their journey to strength

Growing up, Ryan competed in hockey, rugby, and track & field at the regional, national, and international levels. Despite enjoying a multi-sport approach to athletics, he narrowed his sights on snowboarding. Ryan's success included winning the 2012 USCSA National Championship title, as well as competing at the World Cup, Junior, and Senior World Championship levels, racing against the best snowboarders in the world (including Olympic champions).

fter completing his undergraduate degree, Ryan put his athletic ambitions on hold in order to chase his professional goals. He moved to Washington, D.C. to begin his career as an economist, where he worked as a policy analyst at the IMF and the World Bank, as well as completed his MSc in Applied Economics. While living in D.C. kept him off a snowboard, Ryan pivoted his passion for athletics and began training in the sport of weightlifting, where he competed as an 85kg lifter. It was through lifting in D.C. that Ryan would go on to meet Meg.

In 2015, Ryan and Meg moved to New York, where Ryan began a private sector role at Credit Suisse. After over a year of juggling demanding day jobs all the while building up their online business, the pair decided to commit 100% to their health and fitness pursuits full time, and haven’t looked back since.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Meg & Ryan have helped tens of thousands of clients achieve their training, nutrition, and health goals through their existing businesses – Strong Strong Friends and Strong Strong Supply – and are excited to make an even bigger impact with Buff Chick Supplements.

Why did you decide to work with Buff Chick Supplements?
I decided to work with Buff Chick because it was a message I could get behind. My goal throughout my journey of weightlifting is to inspire women to be strong and go for what they want. In a world full of skinny teas, waist trainers, and detoxes I wanted to affiliate with a company that says no to that kind of marketing and pushes women to want to be strong and not profit on insecurities.

What does it mean to you to be a Buff Chick?
To me, being a Buff Chick means hard work, discipline, relentlessness, and tenacity. It means showing up and putting in the work, the right way. It means being vulnerable and honest to show that it is okay to be human and no one is perfect

Natalie is a 3x IPF Open Worlds Champion, 3x USAPL Open Nationals Champion, 1x IPF World Record Holder, 20x USAPL State Record Holder, and now… Buff Chick Athlete.

Why did you decide to work with Buff Chick Supplements?
Buff Chick is paving a new path in the industry with their focus on providing supplements for women that are evidence-based and formulated for athletes. It is a high priority of mine to work with woman-owned companies and I am a huge fan of what Meg has done for the industry overall.

What does it mean to you to be a Buff Chick?
I spent the first 20+ years of my life focused on trying to get smaller to fit into the mold of what I thought I needed to be to be successful in other sports and to be accepted by society. Powerlifting gave me a sense of belonging and pride, and I began to thrive as I allowed myself to grow bigger and stronger. Now I consider “buff chick” to be the ultimate compliment!

Jasmyn is a 2x USAPL Raw Nationals Champion, 2x USAPL Raw Nationals Podium Finisher, 16x USAPL Raw Texas Record Holder, and now… Buff Chick Athlete.

Why did you decide to work with Buff Chick Supplements?
I wanted to work with Buff Chick because I love working with a brand that focuses more on women in powerlifting. Powerlifting is a unisex sport but people see it as a male sport. This brand can help open people's eyes to see women can be just as strong or stronger than men!

What does it mean to you to be a Buff Chick?
Being a Buff Chick means you’re a strong woman who isn’t ashamed to be athletic and beautiful at the same time.

Daniella is a 3x IPF World Champion/Medalist, and 6x National Champion and now… Buff Chick Athlete.

Alex is a Figure Competitor, former Powerlifter and now… Buff Chick Athlete.

What do you love about the sport?
I love the way the sport is all-encompassing and affects every aspect of life; it has encouraged a lot of personal growth for me, and it’s incredible to see what the human body is capable of!

Why did you decide to work with Buff Chick Supplements?
BUFF CHICK CHECKS ALL THE BOXES BABY! The brand is a breath of fresh air in the supplement industry. A brand built by women, for women, without capitalizing on insecurities and focused on performance.

What does it mean to you to be a Buff Chick?
Being a Buff Chick means being a role model for future Baby Buff Chicks; paving the way for the pursuit of strength in and out of the gym!

JamaRR is a Professional Powerlifter, Recipe Developer, and now… Buff Chick Chef.

How did you first get into baking/cooking?
I got into cooking at a very early age. My mother worked multiple shifts/jobs and we had to grow up fast and learn to survive on our own. I think I deep fried chicken by myself before I turned 11.

What is your favorite Buff Chick recipe you've created?
That's tough. It's a toss up between the cereal bars and the banana muffins.

What's your goal when you start developing recipes for Buff Chick?
I simply ask myself these questions:
Would I eat this? Can I honestly say this tastes good? Is this something I want to promote? So the goal is to be able to answer yes to all three.
